Who am I?

I’m a doctoral student studying experimental psychology who is extremely interested in user experience design and research. Stemming from my time as a journalist, I love how little design elements of a webpage, app, or newspaper (I know, old-school) can completely change how people consume that specific media and impact the experience of the users. As a psychologist, I believe that each individual is different. As a researcher, I believe that these differences can truly impact user experience and it is my job as a UX reseracher to bring about equitability in the face of these differences. When I'm not working, you'll probably find me playing video games, cooking (or watching cooking shows), or watching sports.
